The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. -38.

Average of 25, 46, and y = 11

Average = Sum of all observations/Total number of observations

According to the question -

Average = (25 + 46 + y)/3

⇒ 11 = (25 + 46 + y)/3

⇒ 33 = (25 + 46 + y) 

⇒ y = 33 - 25 - 46 

y = -38
