What is the unit digit of the sum of first 111 whole numbers ?

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 5

Sum of first 111 whole numbers = sum of first 110 natural numbers

 So, 

∑n = [n(n + 1)]/2

     = [110(110 + 1)]/2

     = 55 × 111

     = 6105

Unit digit = 5
