The correct answer is Option 4 i.e. 120.

Let the 2 numbers be = x and y

According to the question,

⇒ x - y = 48 and, $\frac{x}{y}$ = $\frac{7}{3}$ 

⇒ x = $\frac{7}{3}$y 

Substituting we get

7y - 3y = 144

⇒ y = 36

⇒ x = 84

The value of x + y = 120

Hence, the sum of the two numbers is 120
