If cosθ = 513\frac{5}{13}, then the value of tan2 θ + sec2 θ is equal to:

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 31325\frac{313}{25}

 cosθ = 513\frac{5}{13} = B/H

P = 132−52\sqrt{13^2 - 5^2} = 12 cm.

Tanθ = P/B = 12/5

Secθ = 13/5

tan2 θ + sec2 θ = 144/25 + 169/25 = 313/25.
