Let the present age of A, B, and C be P, Q, and R years, respectively.
According to the question,
[(P + 2) + (R + 2)]/2 = 32.5
⇒ P + 2 + R + 2 = 65 ⇒ P + R = 65 - 4 ⇒ P + R = 61 ....(1)
According to the question,
[(P - 8) + (Q - 8) + (R - 8)]/3 = 22
⇒ (P + Q + R) = 66 + 24 ⇒ P + Q + R = 90 .....(2)

⇒ Q = 90 - 61 ⇒ Q = 29
