Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 815.

Let the time of travel be t hours.

Distance by Train 1 = 88t

Distance by Train 2 = 75t

88t − 75t=65

⇒13t = 65

⇒t = 5 hours

Total distance = 88t + 75t = (88+75) × 5 = 163 × 5 = 815 km
