Three numbers are given as 14th{{1} \over 4}th of 28, 23rd{{2} \over 3}rd of 18, and 25th{{2} \over 5}th  of 35. What is the fourth proportional of these numbers?

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 24.

1/4 of 28 = 7

2/3 of 18 = 12

2/5 of 35 = 14

Fourth proportion = (12 × 14)/7 = 168/7 = 24
