Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 5(√3 + 1)m

In △\triangleABD,

Tan45 = AB/BD

AB = BD

h = x...........(1)

In △\triangleABC,

Tan30 = AB/BC

1/3\sqrt{3} = h/(x + 10)

3\sqrt{3}h = h + 10

h = 10/(3\sqrt{3} - 1)

h = 5(3\sqrt{3} + 1).
