Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 1540 cm3.

The height of a cylinder is 3 cm more than the radius of its base. If the height is 10 cm.

height of a cylinder = 3 cm + radius of its base

10 cm 3 cm + radius of its base

the radius of its base = 10 cm - 3 cm

= 7 cm

The volume of this cylinder = x radius2 x height

= 22/7 × 72 × 10

= 22 × 7 × 10

= 1540 cm3
