Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 9,900

Total no of cake = 10500

         Total % of cake sold in a week = 100%

                                         100 % = 10500

                                          1% = 105

 now total sold cake on Friday = 10 105 = 1050

 The ratio of vanilla cakes sold to chocolate cake on Friday is 4:3,  let vanilla = 4x & chocolates is 3x

                           4x+3x = 1050

                       x = 150

price of vanilla and chocolate per cake = 9 Rs  and 10 Rs

the total amount earned ( in Rs) by selling all vanilla cakes and chocolate cakes on Friday is = (4 x 150 x  9 ) + (3 x 150 x 10) = 5400+4500 = 9900
