Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 96%.

Total sales of dry fruits from August to october 2012 = 27 + 32 + 25

⇒ 84 lakh rupees

Total sales of sugar from August to october 2012 = 48 + 42 + 47

⇒ 137 lakh rupees

Total sales of rice from August to october 2012 = 42 + 23 + 27

⇒ 92 lakh rupees

Combined sales of dry fruits, sugar and rice for the period from August 2012 to October 2012 = 84 + 137 + 92 = 313 lakh rupees

Total sales of tea from August to october 2012 = 24 + 15 + 30

⇒ 69 lakh rupees

Total sales of pulses from August to october 2012 = 45 + 34 + 42

⇒ 121 lakh rupees

Total sales of flour from August to october 2012 = 55 + 33 + 49

⇒ 137 lakh rupees

Combined sales of tea, pulses and flour for the period from August 2012 to October 2012 = 69 + 121 + 137 = 327 lakh rupees

Required percentage = 313327×100 {313 \over 327} \times 100

⇒ 95.71 ≈ 96%

Hence the required answer is 96%.
