The curved surface area and the volume of a cylindrical object are 88 cm2 and 132 cm2, respectively. The height (in cm) of the cylindrical object is:

Explanation

  The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 423\frac{2}{3}

Here Volume of the cylindrical figure = πr2h = 132............(1)

Curved surface area = 2πrh = 88...........(2)

On dividing equation (1) by (2) we get,

r/2 = 132/88

r =  3.

 πr2h = 132

22/7 × 3 × 3 × h = 132

h = 14/3 =  423\frac{2}{3}.
