The area of a sector of a circle is 66cm2  and the angle of the sector is 60°. Find the radius of the circle.

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 4 i.e. 314cm{{3\sqrt14cm}}

Formula used:

Area of the sector = (Angle of the sector/360) × πr2         ----- (1)

Calculations:

Let r be the radius of the circle.

Using equation (1), we get

⇒ 66 = (60/360) × (22/7) × r2

⇒ r2 = 18 × 7

⇒ r = 3√14 cm
