If the total number of fruits sold by a fruit seller in one month was 50,000 kg, find the approximate difference between the quantity (in kg) of Grapes and that of oranges.

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 11,480.

Given that

If the total fruits sold by a fruit seller in one month was 50,000 kg

Calculation

The quantity (in kg) of Grapes = 50000 × 31.07%

The quantity (in kg) of orange = 8.11% × 50000

Hence, the required value = (31.07 - 8.11) × 50000  = 11480
