By what percentage is 80% of the total export of sugar in 2016, 2017 and 2019 more than the total production in 2015 and 2018 ( correct to one decimal place)?

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 6.3%

 

80% of total export of sugar in 2016, 2017, and 2019 = 80/100 × (270 + 360 + 380) 

⇒ 1010 × 4/5 = 808

Total production in 2015 & 2018 = (320 + 440) = 760

Required percentage = (808 - 760)/760 × 100 = 6.3%
