Padma awardee Arjun Singh Dhurve is related to which of the following folk dances?
Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: D
Explanation
The correct answer is option 4 i.e. Baiga.
Arjun Singh Dhurve, a Padma awardee from Chhattisgarh, is renowned for his contributions to the Baiga tribal dance and culture. The Baiga community is an indigenous tribal group, and their dance forms are closely linked to their rituals, traditions, and way of life. The other options are from different regions: Garba (Gujarat), Raslila (Uttar Pradesh/Mathura region, associated with Lord Krishna), and Chhau (Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal).
