It takes 6 hours to clean a garden. In 2 hours 30 minutes, how much part of the garden can be cleaned?

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 512\frac{5}{12}.

100% of the garden is cleaned in 6 hours

In 1 hour = 1006\frac{100}{6}% is cleaned 

Hence in 2.5 hours = 2.5 × 1006\frac{100}{6}% = 250600\frac{250}{600} = 512\frac{5}{12}
