Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

Correct Answer is option 1 i.e. 25/3

Concept

Understanding

Application

Centroid always divides the median in the ratio of 2 : 1.

AB = 7 cm, BC = 24 cm and AC = 25 cm.

It is Pythagoras triplet

Hence, it is a right-angle triangle.

Let G is the centroid of the given triangle and BM is the median.

BM = AM = MC = 25/2

Centroid always divides the median in the ratio of 2 : 1.

Then,

BG = 2/3 × BM

= 2/3 × 25/2

= 25/3
