In a triangle ABC, AB = 6√3 cm, AC =12 cm and BC = 6 cm. Then measure √B is equal to:

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 90º

The ratio of the sides of the triangle is,

AB : BC : AC = 6√3 : 6 : 12 = √3 : 1 : 2

It is only possible if the triangle is 30° : 60: 90.

Sides opposite to the respective angles,

30 : 60 : 90 = 6 : 6√3 : 12.

∠\angleB = 90°.
