Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 80%

Employees = 400

The ratio of male and female employees = 5:3

let us assume male = 5x and female = 3x

now, 5x+3x = 400

8x= 400

Male employee= 50 x 5 = 250

Female employee = 50 x 3= 150

∵ 87.5%= 78, So the total of regular employees = (7/8)x 400 = 350

Regular male employees = 92 x 250/100 = 230

 so regular female employees = 350-230= 120

∴ regular female employee = (120/150) x  100 = 80%
