If x+1x=23x +\frac{1}{x} =2\sqrt{3} then find the value of x3+1x3x^3 + \frac{1}{x^3}.

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 2 i.e. 18318\sqrt{3}.

x3+1x3=(x+1x)3−3(x+1x)x^3 + \frac{1}{x^3} = \left( x + \frac{1}{x} \right)^3 - 3\left( x + \frac{1}{x} \right)

=(23)3−3(23)= (2\sqrt{3})^3 - 3(2\sqrt{3})

= 24√3 - 6√3

= 18√3
