If the volume of one brick is 0.0014 m³, then how many bricks will be required to construct a wall of length 14 m, breadth 0.125 m and height 5 m?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 6250.

The volume of the wall = Length × Breadth × Height

Volume of the wall =14 m × 0.125 m × 5 m

The volume of the wall = 8.75 m3^3

The volume of one brick is = 0.0014 m3^3

Hence

Number of bricks = VolumeofthewallVolumeofonebricks\frac{Volume of the wall}{Volume of one bricks}

Number of bricks = 8.75/0.0014

Number of bricks = 6250
