If the surface area of a sphere is 30,184 cm2 , then find its volume (use π = 227 {{22} \over 7}).

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 3 i.e.  6163{{616} \over 3} × (49)2 cm3.

The surface area of the sphere = 4πr2

⇒ 4πr2 = 30184

⇒ 4 × 22/7 × r2 = 30184

⇒ r2 = (30184 × 7)/22 × 4

⇒ r2 = 2401 

⇒ r = 49

Volume of the sphere = 4/3 πr3

⇒ 4/3 × 22/7 × 49 × 49 × 49 = 616/3 × (49)2 cm3
