Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 20%

Let side of square be 100 unit

A/C to question side of square has been increased by 20%

100 + 100 × 20% = 120 unit

Perimeter of square = 4 × side

Initial perimeter of square = 4 × 100 = 400

Increased  perimeter of square = 4 × 120 = 480

% Increase = (480 - 400) × 100/400

% Increase = 80/4 = 20%
