If ab+ba=1{{a} \over b}+{{b} \over a}=1 and a + b = 2,  then the value of a3 + b3 is:

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 0.

Given in the question,

ab+ba=1{{a} \over b}+{{b} \over a}=1

⇒ a2 + b2 = ab

⇒ a2 + b2  - ab = 0

So, a3 + b3 = (a + b)(a2 + b2  - ab) = 0
