The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 12

We have to find the value of AB in the given number 8A5146B.

The number is divisible by 88. So the number will also divisible by 11 and 8.

If the difference of the sum of alternative digits of a number is divisible by 11, then that number is divisible by 11 completely.

If the last three digits of a number are divisible by 8, then the number is completely divisible by 8.

So, the possible last digit of the number is B = 4 =  8A51464

For 11 divisibilty rule = (8 + 5 + 4  + 4) - (A + 1 + 6) = 0 or 11

⇒ 21 - 7 - A = 0 or 11

⇒ A = 14 Can't possible 

⇒ 21 - 7 - A = 11

A = 3

So, AB = 4 × 3 = 12
