Understanding

Application

Comparing the coefficients of variables

Expand the equation

3√3x3– 2√2y3 = (x √3 – y √2)(Ax2+ By2 + Cxy)

⇒3√3x3 - 2√2 y3 = √3Ax3 + √3Bxy2 + √3Cx2y - √2Ax2y - √2By3 - √2Cxy2

Comparing the coefficient:

A = 3 and B = 2

√3C – √2A = 0

⇒ C = √6

Hence, (A × B) ÷ C = (3 × 2) ÷ √6 = 6/√6 = √6
