Short method:

$\frac{Profit}{Selling \,Price}$= $\frac 1 6$ 

Cost price = 6 - 1 = 5

Profit% = $\frac{1}{5}\times100 = 20$%

Alternate method:

The selling price of the scooter (S.P.) = ₹23358

Total gain = $\frac 1 6$ × 23358 = ₹3893

The cost price of the scooter (C.P.) = S.P. - Gain = 23358 - 3893 = ₹19465

Gain percentage = (Gain/C.P.) × 100 = $3893\over19465$ × 100 = 20%
