A sum of money amounts to ₹4,624 in 2 years and to ₹4,913 in 3 years at a certain rate of interest, when interest is compounded per annum. The sum is _______.

According to the given question,

Year gap is 1 year, so rate % = (4,913−4,624)4624×100{(4,913 - 4,624) \over 4624} \times 100 = 6.25 % = 1/16

Now let the principle be 16x then amount be 17x
