Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 33600

Application

The number of months A worked = 12 months.

The number of months B worked = 10 months.

Number of months C worked = 8 months

According to the question,

112000 × 12 : 80000 × 8 + 72000 × 8 : 72000 × 6 + 64000 × 2

= 336 : 160 + 36 : 108 + 32

= 84 : 49 : 35

Received profit = 9800.

Then, (49/168) × x = 9800(let x is the total profit)

x = (9800 × 168)/49

x = 33600
