Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e 2000.

Understanding Application

1 fruit is spoiled in 25 fruits.

Let the total number of fruits are 25x so the number of spoiled fruit is x

60% of spoiled fruits sold = 48

 (60/100)x = 48

x = (48/60) x 100 = 80

So, the total number of spoiled fruits is 80.

Total number of fruits in crate = 25 x 80 = 2000
