Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

X's Investment:

First 5 months = 60,000 × 5 = 300,000

Next 7 months = 30,000 × 7 = 210,000

Total = 510,000

Y's Investment:

First 5 months = 90,000 × 5 = 450,000

Next 7 months = 120,000 × 7 = 840,000

Total = 1,290,000

X : Y = 510,000 : 1,290,000 = 17 : 43

X's Share =49,500×(1717+43)=₹14,025= 49{,}500 \times \left(\frac{17}{17 + 43}\right) = ₹14{,}025
