Wages received by X out of total wages received by X, Y and Z are Rs. 4800. What is the absolute difference (in Rs.) between the total wages of Y and Z and total wages of X and Z?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

Working Capacity -

X = 1/12 = 3/36

Y = 1/18 = 2/36

Z = 1/36

Ratio = 3 : 2 : 1

X's share = ₹4800

3 parts = 4800

1 part = 1600

Y+Z = 3 parts = 4800

X+Z = 4 parts = 6400

Difference = 6400 – 4800 = 1600
