Which two signs should be interchanged to make the following equation correct?

18 − 23 × 455 ÷ 7 + 28 = 377

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. − and ×.

Option 2: – and ×

= 18 × 23 – (455 ÷ 7) + 28

= (18 × 23) – 65 + 28

= 414 – 65 + 28

= 442 – 65

= 377

Hence, – and × should be interchanged to make the equation correct.
