Which two signs and numbers need to be interchanged to make the following equation correct?

24 - (9 + 12) - (84 × 4) + 28 = 32

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 12 and 4, ÷ and ×.

24 - (9 + 12) - (84 × 4) + 28 = 32

After interchanging the signs and numbers,

24 - (9 + 4) - (84 ÷ 12) + 28 = 32

24 - (13) - (7) + 28 = 32

52 - 20 = 32
