  1. The rate of evaporation increses as the surface area increase - It is because, the larger the surface area that is exposed to air, the more molecules will escape into the air.
  2. The rate of evaporation increses as a decrease in humidity - If there is already water vapour in the air then its tough to add more water vapour into the air. So the rate of evaporation decreases with increase in humidity.
