Which of the following can be the value of k, if 88÷8×(−3)×3(62−7×5−k2)=1\frac{88\div8\times(-3)\times3}{(6^2-7\times5-k^2)}=1

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 10.

88÷8×(−3)×3(62−7×5−k2)=1\frac{88\div8\times(-3)\times3}{(6^2-7\times5-k^2)}=1

⇒ 11×(−9)(36−35−k2)=1\frac{11\times(-9)}{(36-35-k^2)}=1

⇒ −99(1−k2)=1\frac{-99}{(1-k^2)}=1

⇒ 1 - k2 = -99

⇒ k2 = 100

⇒ k = 10
