Which of the following awards is NOT given in the field of dance and music?
Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: C
Explanation
The correct answer is option 3 i.e. Dronacharya Award.
The Dronacharya Award is NOT specifically given in the field of dance and music; it primarily recognizes outstanding coaches in sports. Established by the Government of India in 1985, this award honors coaches who have made significant contributions to the development of athletes in various sports disciplines. In contrast, awards such as the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award and the National Film Award for Best Music Direction are specifically focused on the arts of music and dance. Thus, the Dronacharya Award is distinctively associated with sports coaching.
