Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: B
Explanation
The correct answer is option 2 i.e. Chola.
The Chola dynasty is associated with the creation of highly skillful and exquisite bronze sculptures in Indian history. Flourishing between the 9th and 13th centuries CE in southern India, the Cholas are renowned for their patronage of art, architecture, and sculpture. Their bronze idols, especially of Hindu deities like Shiva Nataraja (the cosmic dancer), Parvati, Vishnu, and others, are celebrated for their elegance, intricate detailing, and spiritual expression. Created using the lost-wax casting technique (cire perdue), Chola bronzes reflect a high level of craftsmanship and artistic achievement, making them some of the finest examples of metal sculpture in the world.
