Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: B
Explanation
The correct answer is option 2 i.e. the US.
The first official compilation of volleyball rules was published by the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) in the United States. Volleyball was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan, a YMCA physical education director in Massachusetts. Recognising the need for standardised rules, a committee in the U.S. compiled and published the first official set of rules to guide the sport’s development and ensure uniformity. This step played a key role in volleyball's global spread and formalisation.
