Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. Parallel

  • The port that is also known as a Line Printer Port is the "Parallel Port." Parallel ports were commonly used in older computers to connect to printers, hence the name "Line Printer Port."
  • They allowed for the parallel transfer of data, sending multiple bits of data simultaneously, which was suitable for printers that needed to receive data in a continuous stream.
  • However, with advancements in technology, such as USB (Universal Serial Bus), parallel ports have become less common in modern computers.
