Sundari trees, known for their durable and hard timber, are primarily found in the Sundarbans, a mangrove forest region located in the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna rivers in India and Bangladesh. These trees thrive in the saline and brackish water conditions of the Sundarbans, making them well-suited to the unique environment of this coastal area. The Sundarbans, renowned for its biodiversity and ecological significance, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
