Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

Correct Answer is option 3 i.e. 3,16,000

Application

Number of copies sold in India in 2012, 2013 and 2016 = 2.5 + 3 + 4 = 9.5 × 100 = 950

Number of copies sold in abroad in 2012, 2013 and 2016 = 4 + 5 + 6 = 15 × 100 = 1500

Selling amount in India = 950 × 800 = 760000

Selling amount in abroad = 1500 × 1000 = 1500000

Royalty received in India = 760000 × 10/100 = 76000

Royalty received in abroad = 1500000 × 16/100 = 240000

Total royalty = 76000 + 240000 = 3,16,000
