Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

Correct Answer is option 3 i.e. 84 cm2

Understanding

Application

Calculation

Side: 7, 24, 25 cm

(It is a Pythagoras triplet)

These sides form a right angle triangle with hypotenuse 25cm.

⇒ 252 = 72 + 242

⇒ 625 = 49 + 576

⇒ 625 = 625

Area of triangle

= ½ × Base × Height

Base = 24, Height = 7

So,

Area = 84 cm2

⇒ ½ × 24 × 7

⇒ 84
