Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 2 i.e. 47.

Vikram scored 32 percent marks in an exam and failed by 15 marks

Marks needed by Vikram to pass the exam = 32% + 15

If he scores 57 percent marks, then he gets 10 marks more than passing marks = 57% - 10

Now,

⇒ 32% + 15 = 57% - 10

⇒ 57% - 32% = 15 + 10

⇒ 25% = 25

Thus, Maximum marks will be 100% = 100 marks

Now,

Passing marks for the exam = 32% + 15

⇒ 32 + 15 = 47 marks
