Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 ie 400.

                   Male    :    Female

                 80 or 2   :    40 or 1     [assuming the number to be 80 and 40]

Temporary    30      :         16

Permanent = 50 + 24 = 74 × x = 740

x = 10 (multiplying factor)

= (7/15) × 120 × x

= (7/15) × 1200 = 560

= 560 - (16 × x) = 560 - 160 = 400
