Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 81 : 48 : 22

Let the capital invested be P, Q and R.

Given, 4P : 6Q : 18R = 9 : 8 : 11

Equating 4P = 9 ⇒ P = 949\over4

Similarly, Q = 868\over 6 and R = 111811 \over 18

Thus, P : Q : R = 94:86:1118{9\over 4} : {8\over 6} : {11\over18}

Or,  P : Q : R = (94)×36:(86)×36:(1118)×36({9\over 4}) × 36 : ({8\over 6}) × 36 : ({11\over18}) × 36

Thus, P : Q : R = 81 : 48 : 22.
