Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

Given:

A = 30,000 (for 6 months), then 25,000 (for 6 months)

B = 20,000 (for 12 months)

C = 25,000 (for 6 months), then 32,000 (for 6 months)

Total Loss = ₹24,000

A = 30,000 × 6 + 25,000 × 6 = 180,000 + 150,000 = 330,000

B = 20,000 × 12 = 240,000

C = 25,000 × 6 + 32,000 × 6 = 150,000 + 192,000 = 342,000

Ratio = 330,000 : 240,000 : 342,000 = 55 : 40 : 57

Total Shares = 55 + 40 + 57 = 152

C's Share = (57/152) × 24,000 = ₹9,000
