Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 48.

Let 1st = 40

3rd = 40 (same as 1st)

2nd = 25% more than 40 = 40 + 10 = 50

4th = 54×40{5\over4}\times40 = 50

5th = 32×40{3\over2}\times40 = 60

Sum = 40 + 50 + 40 + 50 + 60 = 240

Average = 2405240 \over 5 = 48
