SSC CGL - 05 Dec 2022 - Shift 2 • Quantitative Aptitude • Q63

The table given below shows the marks obtained by two students in 6 subjects.

What is the difference between the total marks obtained by A and B in all the 6 subjects.

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 2 i.e. 30.

Explanation:

The total marks obtained by A in all subjects = (180 + 240 + 360 + 300 + 60 + 330) = 1470

The total marks obtained by B in all subjects = (90 + 420 + 390 + 210 + 270 + 120) = 1500

Now the required difference = 1500 - 1470 = 30.

Hence the difference between the total marks obtained by A and B in all the 6 subjects is 30 marks.
